Bio-identical Hormones

The American academy of anti ageing medicine believe that careful replacement of hormones in physiological doses is also a vital part of any anti ageing regime.

Hormone levels, like antioxidants, begin to decline in the mid 30’s and our goal is to replace hormones to youthful levels. Blood tests are performed and appropriate doses of hormone are prescribed. Two months into treatment, blood tests are repeated and the dose of bio identical is adjusted accordingly. Typically women are prescribed estrogen, progesterone and testosterone, men are prescribed DHEA and Testosterone.
